The Charleston Fighting Squirrels held their annual Cancer night on June 25th at 6 p.m. at Hillhouse Park in Charleston, MO and featured a double header against Marble Hill Sr. Babe Ruth. Below are pictures from the event. All proceeds from the event go to the fight against Cancer.

Becky Stewart night was held on July 1st, at 6 p.m. at Hillhouse Park in Charleston, MO and featured a Double Header against Jackson Sr. Babe Ruth.
Armed Forces Night

Armed Forces Night will be held on July 13th starting at 6 p.m. at Hillhouse Park in Charleston, MO and will feature a Double Header against Oran. All members and veterans of the Armed Forces are invited to attend.
Fighting Squirrels Baseball Camp
first week of june
The Charleston Fighting Squirrels held their annual fundamental baseball camp
the first
week of June. Twenty-three young men from the ages of 6-13 attended.
During the camp Coach Minner and his staff covered pitching, stretching, throwing mechanics, hitting, bunting, and defense. The camp was Monday-Wednesday from 10am – noon.
“We have a blast at baseball camp,” said Minner. “It’s one of the best things we do all summer. I enjoy being out there with the kids. We do keep in mind the objective of the camp is to improve baseball skills. That’s what we focus on and I think my staff does an incredible job of giving the kids every opportunity during the week to get better.”
