2008 Fighting Squirrel Outlook

Squirrels win Regional Championship for the first time in program history.

Squirrels Lose(11-2) First Championship Game to force a winner takes
all game against Kansas set for Tuesday July 29 at 1pm.

Squirrels advance to the Regional Championship Game after defeating
Kansas 8-4. The Squirrels are back in action at 2pm Monday July 28.

Squirrels one hit Minnesota in the second round of the Midwest Plains
Regional.

Squirrels knock off Nebraska in the opening round of the Midwest Plains
Regional.
Updates:

The Squirrels win the first Regional Tournament in Program History. Following
an outstanding pitching performances from Steven Dooley, James Miller, Matt
Medlock, and Tyler Whybark. The Squirrels were lead at the plate by Zach
Rowland and Matt Medlock. The squirrels advance to the World Series in
Newark, Ohio which is set for August 8-15.

The Squirrels couldn't get their offense going against Kansas as Gelena
defeated the Squirrels 11-2. Since this is the first loss for the Squirrels, there
will be a decisive championship game set for tomorrow July 29 at 1:00pm at
Hillhouse Park. Winner of the game goes on to Newark, OH for the Babe
Ruth World Series.

The Squirrels advance to the regional championship game held tomorrow at
2pm at Hillhouse Park. Tyler Whybark went the full distance for the squirrels
and was lead by Matt Medlock at the plate. The squirrels are undefeated
going into the championship game, as the team coming from the consolation
bracket will have to beat the squirrels twice in order to advance to the World
Series.

The Squirrels one hit Minnesota, to advance to the winners bracket
championship game against Kansas. Steven Dooley followed up his debut for
the squirrels as he pitches a one hitter and the squirrels knocked in three
runs to win 3-0. Next up for the squirrels is the powerhouse Kansas as they
knocked off Iowa 16-5.
